Laurel is a solicitor working in our family law team. She enjoys being an approachable and friendly face for clients and breaking down the complex legal process for them to understand.   
 
Laurel graduated from Otago University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Māori Studies. During her studies, she gained valuable experience working at a supervised group home as a youth worker and volunteering at Community Law Otago. She also spent time as a summer clerk with a Christchurch law firm in its family and commercial property teams.

She grew up in Wanaka and Cromwell, so enjoys exploring all that the Hawke’s Bay has to offer. Outside of work, she’s a keen netballer and also enjoys staying active by going to the gym, running, playing tennis and skiing in the winter.
